Why I Teach This — And Why It Matters

I didn’t create RemStone Therapy® as a technique —
I created it because I had to.

In 2004, I sprained my wrist and thought my career was over.
Deep tissue work was getting harder, my hands hurt every day…and I realised something no one was talking about: 

Therapists are expected to deliver results —
but never taught how to protect themselves.

So I started searching. Testing. Questioning everything. I worked with stones  - not as spa props but as therapeutic instruments.
Slowly, I built strategies that created change without strain - for the client and the therapist.

That became S.M.A.R.T™ — Stone Massage Adaptive Release Techniques
And it has kept me working pain-free… for over 20 years.

How Workshops Run

To give every therapist quality time, hands-on support, and space to feel the work properly…

Each Live Event In-Person Location Workshop is capped at 16 therapists (with a minimum of 10 to run).

Each Live Event Online Workshop is capped at 20 therapists (minimum of 4).

Why?
Because this training isn’t about cramming content — it’s about learning with clarity, confidence and care.

⚠️ Important Note – Minimum Numbers

To protect the quality of the experience (and your investment), workshops may be rescheduled or cancelled if minimum numbers aren’t met.

 
This is clearly outlined in the Terms & Conditions:

“We may reschedule or cancel if minimum numbers aren’t met,
the trainer is unavailable, or safety/venue/platform issues arise.
You may accept a new date or receive a refund of the affected booking fee.”

 ✈️ Regional & Long-Distance Workshops — Travel Surcharge

To make training available in regional or other long-distance locations, an additional $100 per person is added to the workshop fee.
This helps cover travel, accommodation + flight costs required to bring live training to your area.

In short — if I can get there, I’ll train there.
This small surcharge simply makes that possible.
